Controller and Data Protection Officer (DPO)

Any processing — when it exists — is performed by the maintainer of the calc/based project, operating from Brazil. Under Brazil's LGPD (Law 13.709/2018), the maintainer also acts as the DPO.

What data is processed?

Only what you type in the calculators — and none of it leaves your browser. Calculations run entirely on your device (client-side). We don't have an application server that receives your inputs, we don't generate logs with that data, and we don't share anything with third parties because, literally, there's nothing to share.

Cookies and local storage

We use localStorage only to remember your theme preference (light / dark). No cookies are used for tracking, advertising or identification. You can clear this preference at any time in your browser settings, with no impact on site usage.

Analytics and third parties

calc/based does not use Google Analytics, social media pixels, heatmap tools, session replay, or any third-party tracking scripts. Should this change in the future — for example, basic anonymous metrics — this page will be updated before implementation, and the type of data collected will be described here in plain text.

Your rights (LGPD/GDPR)

Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018, similar to GDPR) grants data subjects a series of rights: confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion and revocation of consent.

Since calc/based does not collect or store personal data, these rights are fulfilled by design — there is no account to access, export or delete. If you email us proactively, we'll keep only what's needed to reply to your request and you can request deletion at any time.

Exercise your rights

To exercise the rights listed in Article 18 of LGPD (access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, revocation of consent), use the official request form or write directly to contato@calcbased.com. Reply within 15 calendar days.

Ads and analytics

There are currently no ads or analytics tools on this site. Should that change, this policy will be updated before activation, and a granular consent banner will be added — with rejection as accessible as acceptance.

Changes to this policy

If anything materially changes — for example, the introduction of any analytics tool — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged visibly on the site for a reasonable period.
