By accessing and using calc/based (calcbased.com), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with any part, simply don't use the site.

What we offer

We make available a set of free calculators — financial, health, math, cooking and construction — provided "as is", without express or implied warranties of fitness for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

The calculators are strictly informational and educational. They do not replace consultation with a qualified professional — be it an accountant, financial planner, doctor, nutritionist, engineer or architect.

Before making any decision with financial, health or engineering impact, validate the numbers with a qualified professional. calc/based is not liable for losses, damages or consequences arising from the direct or indirect use of the results presented.

Intellectual property

The calc/based brand, design, copy, visual identity and site content are property of calc/based and its creators. The project source code will be released under an open-source license (TBD) and, when published, may be used under the terms of that license.

Modifications

We may update, change or remove calculators at any time, without prior notice, to fix errors, reflect regulatory changes or improve the experience. Updates to these terms will be flagged by changing the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the district where the project maintainer is domiciled.
